sudo ln -sf /usr/share/smartgwt-2.4/ /usr/share/smartgwt
sudo ln -sf /usr/share/smartgwt/smartgwt.jar /usr/share/java/
sudo ln -sf /usr/share/smartgwt/smartgwt-skins.jar /usr/share/java/

# restart tomcat server
sudo /etc/init.d/tomcat6 restart

# create default GWT Project
File > New > Web Application Project

Project name:
Smart

Package:
smart

[ Finish ]

# add smartGWT

Smart > smart > .gwt.xml add to module section:

Smart > war > .html add to head section BEVORE first script section

# add smartgwt libs
Project > Properties
Java Build Path > Libraries
Add External Jar
/usr/share/smartgwt/smartgwt.jar

uncoment

Smart > src > smart.client > Smart.java add to onModuleLoad function
IButton button = new IButton("Click me");

button.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {

});

RootPanel.get().add(button);

uncoment other source in onModuleLoad function
uncoment all other functions in Smart.java
clean up HTML in Smart > war > Smart.html
